At present, Thailand has fully entered into the aging society. In 2021, there are more than 12 million elderly people, or 12% of the total population. Most of the elderly live in provincial communities. In Thai society, grandchildren of the elderly in provinces will go to Bangkok area to work and earn money. Therefore, the elderly lack health care and need to be treated when getting illnesses at small community hospitals near their homes.

With the higher number of people who need more health care, there have been no adequate personnel and resources at community hospitals, including a shortage of medical equipment and devices to help patients fully obtain diagnosis and treatment or even life-saving equipment and devices.

Therefore, the YOU CAN SAVE project has been established to share for 100 hospitals across Thailand in 2019 and carry out all activities under the representative of Osoth Inter Laboratories Co., Ltd. for the support of medical equipment and devices for small community hospitals towards an access to those medical equipment and devices among the people in areas of such community hospitals for more efficient treatment for life saving and lower patient referrals.

Up to 2022, more than 7.5 million baht in funds has been raised from supporters to deliver the medical equipment and devices for 200 hospitals across Thailand and various activities have been continued in this project. In 2022, the YOU CAN SAVE project for 100 hospitals across Thailand has obtained a contribution from students of International Community School Bangkok (ICS), which can inspire and encourage the new generation to be responsible for their society.
